Evergrande 5-1 SIPG (5-5 on agg, 4-5 pens): ACL game for the ages

Shanghai SIPG marched into their first AFC Champions League semi-final after surviving a quarter-final second-leg onslaught against Guangzhou Evergrande despite going down to nine men. Luis Felipe Scolari’s men tried to overturn their 4-0 setback from the first leg and almost succeeded, winning the return game 5-1, but Hulk’s brilliant free-kick for SIPG was crucial to sending the clash to penalties and ultimate triumph.
