Olympiacos 2-3 Sporting Lisbon: Late Pardo brace not enough for hosts

Sporting Lisbon survived a late comeback to defeat Olympiacos 3-2 in Group C. First-half goals from Seydou Doumbia, Gelson Martins, and Bruno Fernandes put Sporting in full control. Two late goals in the 89th minute and 93rd minute of stoppage time from Felipe Pardo gave the hosts a brief glimmer of hope, but it was not enough to save Olympiacos as the referee quickly blew the final whistle shortly after.
