Valeri ties MLS record with seven goals in seven straight games!

Portland Timbers striker Diego Valeri was on target again for the seventh straight MLS match in a row to help his side beat New York City FC 1-0. He was assisted by teammate Darren Mattocks, who stole possession from Andrea Pirlo and set up Valeri for a simple finish on 44 minutes. Valeri has now tied the league record of scoring in seven consecutive games, and must now score against Real Salt Lake in their next away match to set a new record.
