Bayern Munich 3-1 Leverkusen: Sule & Tolisso dream debuts!

After a woeful pre-season, German champions Bayern Munich set out to send a message to their critics and delivered with a 3-1 opening Bundesliga win over Bayer Leverkusen. New buys Niklas Sule and Corentin Tolisso took charge of the scoring early on - the former netting with a towering header - before VAR saw Robert Lewandowski awarded a penalty and score it himself. Even Admir Mehmedi’s bullet consolation did little to stop the Die Roten tide, leaving Carlo Ancelotti’s men a routine win.
