Changchun Yatai 3-2 Guangzhou R&F: Ighalo nets brace for late win!

Former Watford striker Odion Ighalo scored twice as Changchun Yatai edged out Guangzhou R&F in a five-goal thriller in the Chinese Super League. Visiting Guangzhou stunned in the in-form hosts with Chugui Ye's 21st minute strike. But an Ighalo tap-in followed by a screamer from Zhenyu Du gave Chen Jingang’s men a 2-1 lead heading into the final 10 minutes of the match. A defensive error then allowed Zhi Xiao to score what he must have thought was a point-saving goal for the visitors in the 84th minute. But with a minute remaining Ighalo sent a towering header into the back of the net for Changchun Yatai's fourth win in five games.
