Barcelona 7-1 Osasuna: Messi reaches 502 goals, Mascherano nets first!

Lionel Messi scored his 501st and 502nd goals for Barcelona as the La Liga title hopefuls destroyed Osasuna 7-1 on Wednesday at Camp Nou. Messi opened the scoring in the 12th minutes as he pounced on a poor backpass to finish high above the keeper and completed his brace just after the hour mark with a lovely left foot curler from the edge of the area for a 4-1 Barca lead. But the man of the night was Javier Mascherano who blasted a 67th minute penalty straight down the middle for what was incredibly his first goal for the Catalans since joining in 2010. He now only needs 501 more goals to catch Messi but hopefully he doesn't have to wait another 319 games to add to his tally.
