Tottenham 2-1 Soton: Eriksen, Alli score for Kane-less Spurs!

Tottenham Hotspur continued their fine season with a 2-1 win over Southampton despite not being able to call upon star striker Harry Kane who suffered a serious injury a week ago in the FA Cup. Spurs shot to victory over the Saints at White Hart Lane thanks to goals from midfielders Christian Eriksen - with a fine long range strike - and Dele Alli, who won and converted a first half penalty. Southampton rising star James Ward-Prowse scored the consolation goal for the visitors seven minutes into the second half.
